Hey, I'm Laura!
Nellie B's Learning Hive was built by Laura, a former teacher and school leader with over 20 years of experience working with children and families, a first class psychology degree, and a late ADHD diagnosis that made her whole life finally make sense.
Laura spent 15 years giving everything to a profession she loved, before burnout, a breakdown and becoming a mum to Nellie changed everything. She left teaching, started asking different questions, and built something she wishes had existed when she was the little girl sitting in a classroom feeling like school wasn't built for her.
She's silly, warm, completely approachable and absolutely passionate about helping children find their spark: a real person who has lived this from the inside, not a distant expert.

For children aged 4 to 11. We never put a ceiling on what a child can do. Learning is adapted for each child, and where it helps, we group children by age so everyone feels comfortable. We also value mixed-age time, because learning alongside older and younger children builds confidence and friendships.

What age children is this suitable for?
Nellie B's Learning Hive is designed primarily for children aged 5 to 11, with content and resources tailored to different ages and stages. During your Founders group onboarding call, and any time after in the WhatsApp community, Laura will help make sure everything is right for your child specifically.
Do I need any teaching experience?
Absolutely not. It's designed for parents with no teaching background whatsoever. Everything is planned, resourced and ready. You just show up for your child.
What if my child is neurodivergent?
Many of the families here are navigating neurodivergence: ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences and more. Laura has personal and professional experience of neurodivergent learning, and everything inside is designed with flexibility and individual need in mind.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, absolutely. There's no minimum commitment and no penalty for cancelling. Simply give one month's notice. Please note that cancelling means losing your founding member price permanently; rejoining later would be at the full public price.
What if it's not right for us?
